Deleting a Sales Contract/Deleting Lines on a Sales Contract

If a sales contract is to be deleted the system will perform a check to see if that sales contract is in use.  Click the Delete icon

 

If deleting a line, the following message will appear.  Click Ok to continue, or Cancel to cancel the action

 

If deleting a contract and if it can be deleted, a message will appear asking to confirm the deletion.  If deleting a contract when spots have already aired, the spots will become

Bonus spots, and the information can be extracted using the Spot Report.

Click Ok to delete the contract

Click Cancel to exit without changes

 

The contract can be deleted as long as it has not invoiced.

If it has invoiced, the following message will appear when attempting to delete:

 

To delete multiple contracts repeat the above steps. To exit the Sales Contract screen click the Exit icon

 

The deleted contract can then be viewed, by selecting Sales Contract Printout under the Sales menu.  However, once a contract is deleted, SDS cannot retrieve it to make it active again.  The contract can be re-entered through Sales Contract Entry/Editing
