Click on the Episodes tab; all episodes of the program will appear. Click on the drop down box under the column “Cat” (Category) and make the selection. The episodes must be defined based on what the CRTC codes are (for example 7A represents Drama – Ongoing Dramatic Series)

The number of episodes selected from the Program screen will be displayed on the Episodes screen along with the CRTC\V-chip information.
The House number (BPN Number) generated for each episode can also be seen on the Episodes screen.
Any information on the Episodes screen may be edited for the Episode level. The title of the program may be assigned simply by typing over the default text “Episode #001”
Eps. Synopsis – Episode Synopsis. The Synopsis at the Episode level is a summary of the episode description. When the system searches for a synopsis for an external source (TV Guide, etc) it first searches for the Episode Synopsis. In the absence of a synopsis at the episode level, it next searches for the Primary Synopsis.
To enter an Episode Synopsis, simply double click on the Episode Synopsis field on the row of the selected Episode. The text field will grow in space for the episode synopsis entry. Once you have finished filling in the synopsis, click on the X in the top right of the Synopsis window. Text can also be copied and pasted from a website, etc. If the program synopsis has been entered, the word memo will be denoted with a capital “M” (Memo). If it’s missing, it will be denoted with a small “m” (memo)
Stars – The stars field is for the names of the Actors/Actresses starring in the Episodes. Entering the stars in allows for easy key word searches later on as well as specific details on the Episode.
To enter in stars, simply click in the stars field on the row of the selected Episode and begin to type.
Start Date – The Start date may be edited at the episode level providing it is within the program contract dates.
End Date – The End date may be edited at the episode level providing it is within the program contract dates.
V-Chip – The V-chip can also be changed at the episode level by clicking on the V-chip field and selecting from the dropdown box. This is only in Canada
Note - placing the cursor between the columns and dragging to expand the field may resize the widths of the columns.
*Note – it is recommended to fill out the V-chip information first, hit save, and then open the Episodes tab; this way all of the category information will update automatically
