Why lock breaks?
Every night, SDS runs its standard spot placement process. This process rebuilds the entire log to place newly added spots to current and future weeks. The same process occurs when opening a log for the first time in Log Edit. If a break is locked, the process will ignore it. No spots will be added, no spots removed and the positions will not change.
Always be sure to lock the day (or specific breaks) before you leave for the day and before you open the log in Log Edit.
To lock individual breaks, right click the break and select Lock this break. A lock icon will appear and the spots will turn blue to indicate the spots are now locked into place. Spot placement will ignore this break. To unlock, right click again and select Unlock this break.

Locking Multiple Breaks
To lock many breaks at once, select the Lock Icon. This will open the Lock/Unlock breaks window.

To lock breaks:
1. Select one or more days (days will turn green when selected)
2. Select time range (Only available AFTER selecting day)
3. Press Lock/Unlock breaks
This will Lock/Unlock all breaks that start within the time range.
If the log has been opened, the day will appear red. Breaks cannot be locked on open days.
You can also right click any day to lock/unlock the whole day at once.
