From the main screen in Electronic Contracting select FileàSettings Then proceed to one of the Mapping Tabs.
Mapping is another time saving tool in Electronic Contracting (EC) used to automatically select Advertisers, Agencies and Account Executives. EC will create these mappings anytime one of the above is selected in the Header.
The imported .xml File (provided by an agency) will contain information for Advertisers, Agencies and Account Executives. However, the exact spelling may not match what you have in your traffic system. The purpose of mapping is to allow the system to remember what you chose in the Header and automatically select it next time.
In the example below you will see Rona on the left. This is the name sent by the agency. In Traffic however, the name for Rona is RONA INC. The first order for Rona will display as red in the header. Once a user selects RONA INC. this mapping will be built. The next order for Rona will automatically select RONA INC.
Note: Mapping is saved on a per user basis. One user may have Rona mapped, but a different user will need to map each client under their own login.
Mappings can be changed at any point. This will not affect any orders already processed. Any saved orders will use the new mapping once reopened. To change the mapping, use the dropdown menu on the right and select the advertiser.
