Program Contracts can be renewed within the SDS Traffic System. This may be required when a program contract is being renewed with different Amortization, Playcount and Financial properties than the original agreement. This is completed when a new agreement is ending
Steps:
From the Programming menu, Select Program Inventory, Corporate Acquisitions.
Click on the Recall icon
Select the Program Contract to be renewed
Click on the Program Renewal icon from the toolbar:
The following screen will appear
Enter a new Agreement Number for the Contract. This number is a user defined number and is required for Identification purposes within the SDS Traffic System.
Click Continue once the number has been entered. The following confirmation screen will appear to verify the Renewal process. This will also archive the original program agreement number:
Click Yes to continue or No to cancel the process. If you selected Yes, the Renewing process will begin and message will appear that files are being updated. Once the Renewal process is complete the following message will appear confirming the process is completed and the new Contract Numbers:
*Please note – “X” cannot be used in Contract Type. All archived contracts are denoted with an X. This indicates that this is the ‘old’ or expired contract.
Click the Ok button. The following message will appear:
The Corporate Acquisitions screen will close automatically. To edit the properties of the new contract you must re-enter Corporate Inventory and recall the program contract. Once editing is completed save the changes to the contract.
